Robert Thomas “Tommy” Nowell, 48, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016 at Shenandoah Memorial Hospital in Woodstock.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 7, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 8, at 11:00 a.m. at Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Tommy was born April 12, 1967 in Front Royal, VA son of the late Ralph Winton Nowell and Peggy Joyce Thomas Nowell.

Surviving are two children Carolyn Nowell of Edinburg and Thomas Nowell of Front Royal; three brothers David Rickie Nowell, Ralph Michael Nowell and Stephen Ray Nowell all of Front Royal; and four grandchildren Braydon Hermes, Kierstin Hermes, Cameron Hermes, and Brantley Budd.
