Joseph Lee Jenkins Jr. “Hooker”

Joseph Lee Jenkins Jr. “Hooker”, 61, of Woodstock, Virginia passed away on October 19, 2025 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held for Joe at 2 P.M. on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St. Front Royal, Virginia with Sammy Campbell officiating. The family invites guests to join them for a visitation from 6-8 P.M. on Saturday, October 25, 2025.

Joe was born on July 22, 1964 in Luray, Virginia to the late Joseph Lee Sr. and Charlotte Darlene Thomas Jenkins. He was also preceded by his father-in-law, Jimmie Miller; his sister-in-law, Crystal Dick; and his brothers-in-law, Phillip Williams, and Johnny Knott.

Surviving Joe is his loving wife of 23 years, Lori Lynnette Miller Jenkins; his children, Joseph Jenkins III, Candice Huffman (Chris), Christopher Jenkins, Jennifer Jenkins, Victoria Pullen (Nick), Jimmy Jenkins (Allison), and Alexander Jenkins; his sisters, Angela Jenkins, and Bonnie Sue Shenk (Bill); his 8 grandchildren; his mother-in-law, Diana Miller; his sisters-in-law, Tracy Williams, and Kimberly Ramirez; and numerous special nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.

Joe was a member of Luray Loyal Order of the Moose.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Page County Animal Shelter at 1261 Goodrich Rd, Stanley, VA 22851.

    sending my condolences to Hooker’s family, Hooker was loved, and liked by everyone. he was one of my favorite 1st. little cousins. he sure had a gift of singing. to my dear cousin Hooker thanks for the great times we shared together in our younger years. you never will be forgotten. looking forward meeting you in heaven soon. you’re cousin Tim, Jenkins Sr.

    So very sorry for the loss of this man. I personally didn’t know Know him, only have heard stories about him from my oldest brothers (Daniel & Donnie ) &sister Crystal & friends ( Cathy )I have gathered from every one he rocked several singing times and places for karaoke and never meet a stranger. May God wrap his arms around him and he continue to sing with the angels. God Bless all of his family and friends as they navigate through without his physical presence but may his spirit be with each of them and all his love. My condolences and prayers for all!
