Richard “Eddie” Edward Henderson, 60, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Friday, February 27, 2026 at UVA Medical Center.

Eddie was born on June 6, 1965 in Falls Church, Virginia to the late James Richard and Carole Lamore Crawford Henderson. He was also preceded in death by his grandparents, Calvin “Shorty” Stride and Mildred Stride; and his wife, JoAnn Martinez Henderson.

Surviving Eddie are his loving brothers, Duane Henderson (Lisa), and Kenny Henderson (Bobbie Jo); his nephews, Willis Henderson, Liam Henderson, Riley Henderson, Kody Henderson, and Little Kenny Henderson; his aunt, Pat Rae; his cousin and her sons, Chris Figgins, Jordan and Jamie Figgins, and his best friend, Donnie Hunt.

Eddie loved to draw and listen to music in his spare time. He was a tattoo aficionado and enjoyed not only getting artwork, but seeing others. Eddie had a big heart and would help out anyone in need. He had medical issues most of his life, but instead of getting down hearted he would try to keep a positive mind.
