Elizabeth Anne “Libby” Fox

Elizabeth Anne “Libby” Fox, 78, of Front Royal, Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, February 27 at her home surrounded by her loving family.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 5 at 1:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Pastors Elvi Rogers and Dottie Holden officiating. Interment will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens at Waterlick.

Libby was born February 2, 1948 in Front Royal, Virginia, daughter of the late Delmar Gibson Fox Sr. and Mary Elizabeth Butler Fox.

She was a member of Dynamic Life Praise and Worship Center. She retired from Family Grocery and Lowes.

Libby will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.

Surviving is her life partner and best friend, Johnnie Shaffer; two daughters, SuAnne Airhart and husband Gene of Front Royal and Bethany Brinklow and husband Todd of King George; two sons, Johnnie Shaffer of Gaithersburg, Maryland and William Allen Shaffer of Pueblo, Colorado; three brothers, Delmar G. Fox Jr., James Kevin Fox and Kyle Blakely Fox; one sister, Donna Lea Fox; 10 grandchildren, Erin (Adam), Paige, Brooke, Allie, Dakota, Cheyenne, Johnnie, Landon, Naomi and Isabella; seven great-grandchildren, A.J., Madison, Peyton, Paxton, Landon, Laveah and Jaxton; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Libby was preceded in death by her parents; son, Kirk Douglas Williams; one sister, Debra Lynne Serreno; and one brother, Kenneth Butler Fox.

Pallbearers will be A. J. Moore, Adam Moore, Todd Brinklow, Gene Airhart, Johnnie A. Shaffer, Johnnie L. Shaffer, William A.F. Shaffer and Jamond Hackley.

Honorary pallbearers will be her great-grandchildren, brothers and sister.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 4 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
