Lennis Fox Marlow

Lennis Fox Marlow, 98, of Luray, Virginia and formerly of Front Royal, Virginia, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Page Memorial Hospital in Luray, Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 24 at 12:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester.

Mrs. Marlow was born April 16, 1928 in Luray, Virginia, daughter of the late Raymond Leo and Ruth Marie Bradley Fox.

She was a faithful servant of God, blessing people in so many ways. She was an amazing cook, who blessed her family and friends with many great meals and thoroughly enjoyed working in her garden.

Mrs. Marlow was a member of Morning Star Lutheran Church in Luray and an associate member of Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church in Front Royal.

Surviving is a daughter, Carolyn Wilkins and husband Gary of Kilmarnock; two brothers, Bobby Junior Fox (Ann) of Luray and Earl Franklin Fox (Helen) of Harrisonburg; three sisters, Doris Judd of Tennessee, and Garnetta Luscombe and Mable Stich, both of Topeka, Kansas; two grandchildren, Elizabeth Marie Sanders (Dan) and Kevin Edward Wilkins (Sarah); and three great-grandchildren, Nolan Edward Sanders, Miller Elizabeth Wilkins and Hudson Ford Wilkins; and two very dear and special friends, Angie Hall Hudson and Yates Thomas Hall.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 60 years, Walter Edward Marlow who passed in December 2015; three sisters, Annie Muriel Henry, Hattie Fern Jenkins and Verlie Eileen Sours; and a brother, Raymond Eugene Fox.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends from11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Friday, April 24 at the funeral home.
