Michael Lee “Mike” Lemons, 75 of Front Royal, Virginia entered his eternal rest on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 in Dulles, Virginia.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026.
Mr. Lemons was born on December 9, 1950 in Richmond, Indiana to the late Victor Lee Lemons and Edra Reid Weiss. Mike graduated from Cortez High School in Phoenix, Arizona in 1969 and attended Anderson University later receiving his bachelor’s degree. Following graduation, he became a carpenter and during his career achieved the award of Carpenter of the year from the State of Arizona. He eventually retired as a Construction Foreman and Union Carpenter. He volunteered with Samuels Public Library, was a faithful follower of Jesus Christ and a member of Skyline Baptist Church.
Survivors include his two sons, Cory Lemons (Amy) and Travis Lemons (Lee); two daughters, Melody Riggs (James) and Faith Lemons; brother, Stephen Lemons; sister, Alisa Middleton; first wife, Ellen Scott; second wife, MaryAnne Travis; twelve grandchildren and one great grandson.

It was a blessing to know Mr. Sommers. The brief time we shared was filled with wisdom and kindness. We greatly appreciated the time he spent talking with us and sharing his experiences and love.
May the Lord richly bless and comfort his family during this time.
