Aubrey Wilson Darr, 83, of Front Royal, passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 31, 2016, in his home surrounded by his loving family.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 3, at 11:00 a.m. at the Prospect Hill Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Pearson officiating.

Mr. Darr was born on October 4, 1932 in Baltimore, MD, son of the late Irvin Jackson Darr and Laura May Sealock Darr. He worked many years as a superintendent and carpenter in the construction field.

He was married to the late Norma Carolyn Kines Darr.

Mr. Darr was also preceded in death along with his parents and wife by one daughter Melanie Darr; three brothers; and one sister.

Surviving are his “Babe” Anna Ardinger of Front Royal; three daughters Deborah Jones, Crystal Chrisman and husband Mick, and Jacquelyn Critzer and husband Sam, all of Front Royal; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
