Anna Marie Johnson, 70, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at her home.
A Requiem Mass of Roman Catholic Burial will be held on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 11:00 AM at St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, 120 West Main Street, Front Royal with burial to follow at Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Johnson was born on July 4, 1946 in Dickenson, North Dakota to the late Edward A. Wanner and Genevieve Heier Wanner. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Cameron Johnson.
She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and Servants of Jesus and Mary, Fatima Center.
Survivors include three sons, Leon Johnson, Darrell Johnson and Brian Johnson; five daughters, Sylvia Puray, Irene Linsmayer, Kimberly Lopez, Christine Rosa and Mary Rosa; five brothers, Clem Wanner, Edward Wanner, Michael Wanner, James Wanner and Frank Wanner; five sisters, Bernadette Grosbeier, Sylvia Lang, Clara Place, Rose May and Genevieve Stirling; 17 grandsons, 14 granddaughters and three great granddaughters.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 15, 2016 from 7 to 9 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, West Main Street, Front Royal.
The family requests that Masses are said in her memory for the repose of her soul and for the Rosary to be prayed.
