James Stuard Gates, 51, of Woodstock, VA, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2017 in Front Royal, VA.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. at the Shenandoah Community Fellowship Church.

Mr. Gates was born October 26, 1965 in Washington, D.C. son of Mr. Stuard Dwight Gates of Woodstock, VA and the late Judith Darlene Barrett Gates. He was a real estate agent with Weichert Realtors in Front Royal, VA and attended Shenandoah Community Fellowship in Woodstock.

Surviving along with his father are two sons Andrew Gates of Purcellville, VA and David Gates of Blacksburg, VA; and one brother Ken Gates of Leesburg, VA.
