Peter “Pete” Denitto, 72, of Front Royal passed away on Tuesday, August 15, 2017, in the Winchester Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. conducted by Pastor Ronnie Jennings at the Servant’s Heart and Hands Church, 106 Chester St., Front Royal, Virginia.

Mr. Denitto was born Oct. 3, 1944, in Alexandria, Virginia, son of Leonard Vincent and Elizabeth Nugent Denitto. He was a retired fire fighter for the County of Fairfax. He once was a baseball player in Salem West Virginia playing in the minor league for the Pirates.

Surviving are his wife Ludy B. Denitto, three children Diane D. Denitto of Front Royal, P.A. Denitto of New Jersey, and Christopher Denitto of St. Pete, Florida and two grandchildren including Christopher Kilpatrick. He was preceded in death by a daughter Elizabeth Denitto.
