Robert Lee Timbers, 69, of Linden, VA, passed away on September 21, 2017.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 30, from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal followed by celebration of life service conducted by Elder Landon Timbers.

Mr. Timbers was born February 28, 1948 in The Plains, VA, son of the late Jessie Louis Timbers, Sr. and Mamie Lee Grayson Timbers. He worked as a truck driver for Millbrook Quarries in Broad Run, VA.

Surviving are his wife Phyllis A. Nicholson Timbers of Linden; three children Steven Andrew Nicholson , Paula Ann Nicholson, and Tanya E. Nicholson; grandchildren who he raised as his own, Isha B. Nicholson, Selena A. Nicholson, and Makyla K. Castellanos; seven brothers Jessie Timbers, Landon Timbers, Melvin Timbers, Johnny Timbers, Anthony Timbers, and Richard Timbers; four sisters Alice Caison, Mamie (Rose) Morgan, Vicky Timbers, and Ella Coe; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother Gene Timbers; and a sister Mary Louise Timbers Starks.
