Wanda Lee Kidwell Williams, 68, of Front Royal, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017, in her home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 26, at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, conducted by Sammy Campbell. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Williams was born on April 2, 1949 in Browntown, Virginia, daughter of the late William Turner Kidwell and Lurena Marie Jones Kidwell. She retired from 6th Street 7-11. She was married to the late Edward “Eddie” R. Williams, Sr.

Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Eddie Williams, Sr.; her son, Edward “Eddie” R. Williams, Jr., frequently known as “Tiger”; two sisters, Glory K. Smelser and Mary K. Campbell and her brother, Robert W. Kidwell.

Surviving are a sister Elizabeth Ann “Libby” Kidwell Haun and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Codey Smelser, Corey Smelser, Harry Davis, Junior Kidwell, Noah Mahoney III and Malachi Dickinson.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
