Joe Daniel Lawson, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at Carilion Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia

A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia. A Celebration of Life will immediately follow the service at the Moose Lodge from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. at National Memorial Park in Falls Church, Virginia.

Mr. Lawson was born one of twelve children on August 24, 1928 in Loudon County, Virginia to the late Chris and Minnie Lawson. He was a carpenter and a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose.

Survivors include his son, Joseph Duane Lawson; daughter, Rebecca Jean Beach; four grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
