Estel Woodrow Husted, 81, of Middletown, Virginia passed away on Thursday, February 1, 2018 at Shenandoah Senior Living.
He was born on July 10, 1936 in Perkins, Oklahoma to the late Clarence Woodrow Husted and Esther Elliott Henderson.
Survivors include his wife of 62 years Della Jean Husted of Middletown; son, Robert Michael Husted of Middletown; daughter, Terry Denise Swaney of Front Royal; Brother, Carroll Wayne Husted of Tampa, Florida; sister, Carolyn Piccone of Houston, Texas; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Grandpa you will always be loved and missed. It is so hard to say good bye. I am so thankful that I got to know you and spend time taking care of you if only for a little while. Love you today and forever.

It grieves me to hear of your great loss with the passing of Estel. Nevertheless, I’m forever grateful to both of you for having placed confidence in a young man in 1967, thereby starting off an aviation career. Your trust proved worthwhile.
