Fred W. “Toad” Browning Jr., 70, of Luray, Virginia passed away on December 12, 2018 at Collingswood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rockville, Maryland.

A graveside service will be held on Monday, December 31, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Quantico National Cemetery, Triangle, Virginia.

Mr. Browning was born on March 23, 1948 in Alexandria, Virginia to Fred W. Browning Sr. and the late Gladys Adams Browning. He was also preceded in death by his daughter, Sherry Ann Browning.

He was a Veteran of the Vietnam War and served in the Army 101st Airborne Division.

Surviving along with his father are his wife of 30 years, Dorothy E. Browning of Luray; daughter, Stephanie Browning of Luray; son, Fred W. Browning III of Stafford, Virginia; three brothers, James Browning of Catlett, Virginia, Bobby Browning of Catlett and Steve Browning of Stafford; two sisters, Debbie Browning of Stafford and Jeannie Watson of Heathsville, Virginia; grandson, Derick Browning of Stafford and numerous nieces and nephews.
