Catherine M. Trumbull, 100, of Front Royal, passed away on Saturday, May 9, 2015, in Heritage Hall in Front Royal.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with the Rev. Stanley Krempa, officiating. Inurnment will be at a later date in St. Patrick’s Cemetery in Chicopee Falls, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Trumbull was born June 23, 1914, in Pittsburgh, PA, daughter of the late Alexander and Jeanie West Galloway. She was a member of St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic, member of the Front Royal Lioness Club, volunteer for the Warren Memorial Ladies Auxiliary and Samuel’s Public Library, lector for St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church and member of the “Dirty Eights” bridge club. Mrs. Trumbull was preceded in death with her parents, her husband John T. Trumbull; one son David Trumbull; and one daughter Judith White.

Surviving are a daughter Nancy Lee and husband Terence of Front Royal; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday following the service until 4:00 p.m.at the funeral home.
