Louise R. Montgomery, age 94, passed away Monday, July 20, 2015. Mrs. Montgomery was a resident of Colfax, North Carolina, formerly of Front Royal, Virginia and North Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Mrs. Montgomery was born on May 23, 1921 in Hopewell, Virginia.

Survivors include her son Donald L. Ritenour and his wife Kimberly of White Stone, Virginia, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lee A. Montgomery, her son, Elmer T. Ritenour, Jr., and her sister, Marie Swift.

Funeral services will be private.
