Johnny Morris James, (MSGT., USA, Ret.) 76, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Wednesday, August 19, 2015, at Winchester Medical Center.

Services will be private.

Mr. James was born April 17, 1939, in Buncombe County, NC, son of the late Frank and Innabelle Littrel James. He retired from the U.S. Army and continued work as a security guard. He was married to the late Evelyn James.

Surviving are two sons Timothy James of Asheville, NC and Tony James of Philadelphia, TN; step-daughter Lucinda Garcia of Baton Rouge, LA; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one step-great-granddaughter.
