Gary “Gerp” William Cosner, 58, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at his home.
Mr. Cosner was born on March 12, 1964 in Rockville, Maryland to the late William Cosner and Pauline Mitchell Cosner. He was a member of the American Pool Association.
Surviving along with his mother are two daughters, Amanda Shifflett (Bryan) and Jennifer Dinges (Jeff); sister, Linda Cullison; two brothers, Terry Mitchell and Tony Cosner; three granddaughters, Shanna “Little Be Bop” Dinges, Shyanne “Butt Crack” Shifflett and Trinity Lam; two grandsons, Jeffrey Lam Jr. and Bryan Gales Jr. and his best pal, his dog, Izzy.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Maddox Funeral Home.
I will love you forever my big bro Gerp,,I will miss all our family gatherings,playing pool 🎱 ,going to nascar races in Bristol and our 5 day trip to Dover boy did we have some great times there… “Hog head” aka Roger will miss you to…time was cut to short for you but now you can play all the pool you want and hold grandma’s hand,,,keep a spot for me so I can see you again…
I’ve missed you for some time gerp,he was a brother,husband,father and friend and a avid fellow race fan. I have a bountiful lifetime of memories and I couldn’t of loved you more. A big guy with a big heart. RIP my brother may God be with you.

Gary so sad you are gone from this world so soon. I will always remember you taking Linda and I to wrestling matches and bowling on Sundays. Thank you for taking me to go see the Steelers play the redskins..we had so much fun. Love you like a brother..fairy Mary 😔

Gary you will be missed by so many people. I so remember those nights in Discovery that we use to have will all of us (Debbie, Dawn, Crystal and all of the guys) I will so miss our talks. Prayers to the family.
