Albert T WeaverAlbert T. Weaver, Sr., 87, of Front Royal Virginia, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016, in his home.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 2, 2016, 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mr. Weaver was born on November 17, 1928, in Warren County, son of the late Theodore Roosevelt Weaver and Margaret Funk Weaver.

Mr. Weaver was a United States Army veteran, having served as a tank crewman in the Korean War. He was a former member of the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion, the Front Royal Moose Lodge #829 and the VFW Post #1860. Mr. Weaver retired as a construction worker and later worked for Francis “Red” Hall for many years at Royal Palace Cleaners.

Surviving are a son, Albert T. “Al” Weaver, grandson, Timothy Noel Weaver; a step-daughter Patty Livera of Panama Beach, Florida; and many extended family members which include step-children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

He was preceded in death by his companion, Merle Comstock, two brothers, two sisters and his parents.

Pallbearers will be son, Al Weaver and friends Tony Lamb, Red Hall, Chuckie Henry, Ronnie Henry, and Larry Comstock. Honorary pallbearers will be Ken Cooley, Bradley Comstock, Joseph Comstock, Phil Livera, Mark Ramsey, Charlie Wright, Bobby Woodward, and Timothy Noel Weaver.

The family will receive friends on Monday, February 1st, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
