Aletha K. Fitzhugh, 63, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at Winchester Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Pastor Gene Ford and Pastor James Stark officiating.
Ms. Fitzhugh was born in Front Royal on December 3, 1953 to the late James Giles and Mildred Fitzhugh Giles. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Zora Skinner.
Survivors include her daughter, Toujana Person; son, Collin Fitzhugh; brother, Copthorne Fitzhugh; two granddaughters, Miura Person and Miyanna Fitzhugh; niece, Quantier Loy and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
We haven’t seen Aletha for almost 6 years, we have been wondering how her prosthetic is fitting and wanted to schedule a follow up, but have since found out about her passing. We just wanted to say we are so sorry to her family and friends and we are also sorry it took us 6 years to find out. She was a beloved patient of ours. Rest in peace Aletha. Thank you so much.
