Andrew L. “Andy” Crowell, 57, of Front Royal, VA, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born on April 25, 1968, in Schenectady, NY. He was preceded in death by his father, Ret. Colonel Arthur N. “Art” Crowell, and his uncle, Elmer N. “Casey” Crowell. He is survived by his children, Krista Crowell and Caden Crowell, from his former marriage to Sheri Vaughan, all of Sanford, NC; his mother, Judy Crowell of New Orleans, LA; his brothers, Steven Crowell (Michelle) of Knoxville, TN, and Timothy Crowell (Alicia) of New Orleans, LA; as well as several cousins, nieces, and nephews. He is also survived by his beloved cat, Brian. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Morris Animal Foundation or the American Veterinary Medical Foundation to support research into animal diseases, including Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV).
