I am so happy that I became a part of the Russell clan when I fell in love with Joe. CB always made me smile and he had one of the best laughs in the world – those moments of laughter will live with me forever. He added a spark of mischievousness to every beach trip – I never knew what to expect. I know CB is having fun sitting on the beach with a beer in one hand and a fishing rod in the other!! And I bet his mom is hanging out with him, too.
I am thinking of all of you, Mary, Colleen (by the way I was his favorite brother-in-law), CL, and Wyatt. Looking forward to hugging all of you soon.
    With much love and appreciation,
    Richard

CB, what can i say. One of my best friends in life forever. We had so many great times—the memories, so many bluegrass festivals, Jimmy, Paul Keim, Ralph Stanley, working the stock sales—so many good times. You’re one of a kind, and you’ll always be in my heart

C.B. was not only a great guy but also an indelible feature of my life in the freewheeling
times between WCHS and the military. I regret only that I didn’t keep up with him and the gang
in later years. Take care, buddy.
