Charles “Sonny” Gay III, 85, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 2, 2020 at Shenandoah Senior Living.

He will be inurned at Quantico National Cemetery at a later date.

Mr. Gay was born on December 29, 1934 in Cordelle, Georgia to the late Charles Jr. and Mildred Mims Gay. He was a member of Dale City Presbyterian Church and a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife of 63 years, Anna Ruth Meadows Gay of Front Royal; son, Robert Gay of Woodbridge, Virginia and his sister, Margie Allen of Tuckahoe, New Jersey.
