Darrel Willis Damer, 72, of Huntly, VA passed away on Friday, August 11, 2017 in Winchester, VA.

Services will be private.

Mr. Damer was born September 1, 1944 in Washington, D.C., son of the late Darrel Stratford Damer and Margaret June Howard Damer. He received a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science from Lynchburg University and retired as a real estate appraiser.

Surviving are his wife Kitty Sharon Damer of Huntly; one son James Stratford Damer and his wife Michele of Culpeper and Tara Lynn Atkins of Bristow, VA; two sisters Margaret Elaine Beverly of Warrenton and Pamela Kay Damer of Apple Valley , MN; and three grandchildren Thomas Stratford Atkins, Haley Marie Damer, and Dylan Willis Damer.
