Dennis Lee “Fuzzy” Airhart, 62, of Front Royal, VA, died on Thursday, January 22, 2015 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, January 26, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Diann Whetzel and Sammy Campbell. Burial will follow in Panorama Memorial Gardens. A reception will follow the burial at Front Royal Church of the Brethren.

Fuzzy was born April 17, 1952 in Front Royal, VA son of the late James M. Airhart and Nellie Hottle Airhart. He retired as a carpenter and was a member of the American Legion.

Surviving are his wife Eleanor Airhart of Front Royal; one brother DavidAirhart and wife Linda; one sister Delores Garber; one aunt Helen MariePartlow; 21 nieces and nephews; 46 great nieces and nephews; and 7 great-great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three brothers James W. Airhart, Gene B. Airhart, and Charles A. Airhart.

Pallbearers will be nephews Tony Airhart, Gene Airhart, Jr., Jamie Mahoney, Michael Henry, Jared Alley, and Cliff Dodson.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jackie Henry, Gary Jenkins, III, Matthew Terry, George Dodson, III, Benjamin Vogt, Robert Henry, III, Anthony “T.J.” Airhart, Robbie Garber, and Tyler Clater.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 25, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.
