I lost touch with Dixie after we all grew up and moved on. She sure was a miracle. I remember when she was born and was disabled. She went on to prove you can do whatever you set your mind to. She is with relatives and her beloved brother Benny.

Prayers and Condolences for all. I have pictures of Dixie from I think 1985 she was here on 4th of July visiting Uncle Ben and Jr. and Mabel. She was always happy is what I remember. My Mom thought she was remarkable.. I’m Joyce Dawson Fletcher’s daughter Edith( Edie) Fletcher.

Dixie was an example of someone who never let her disabilities get in the way of her loving spirit . She always was concerned about everyone else . I never saw her down but always had a smile on her face. Just to hear her laugh one more time. She will be missed
