Donald Gale “Donnie” Spiker, 76, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 14, 2024 at 12 PM at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal with Sammy Campbell officiating.

Mr. Spiker was born on October 2, 1948 in Winchester, Virginia to the late Robert and Helen Williams Spiker.  He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Ronald Spiker; two brothers, Lewis Spiker and Benny Spiker and sister, Betty Lee Kerns.  He retired from Carmeuse Quarry in Middletown, Virginia after 52 years of service and worked under the supervision of a very special nephew, Ashby “Junebug” Spiker Jr.

Survivors include his wife of 34 years, Eleanor Spiker; son; Donald Scott Spiker; step daughter, Carolyn Sealock; three brothers, Ashby Spiker Sr., Jerry Spiker and Stephen Spiker; two sisters, Elsie Wilson and Dorothy Mae Spiker; grandson, Bryant Spiker; three step grandchildren, Thomas Allen Fincham (Katelyn), Sierra Hawes (Dennis) and Damien Sealock; special friend, Berry Burner and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
