Elaine M. Williamson, 80, of Front Royal, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Thursday, February 4th, 2021 in Front Royal, Virginia.

Elaine’s life held unlimited impact, reflected by how well she loved those around her. Her family, her friends, all received the beauty of her wisdom, guidance, and love that she offered in selfless abundance. She will be missed.

Elaine was born on May 5th, 1940, in Luray, Virginia, the daughter of the late Robert Newton and Thelma Hough Good. She was a member of the VFW Post #1860, American Legion Post #53, Front Royal, Warren County Lodge 33 Fraternal Order of Police Auxiliary, and Riverton United Methodist Church.

Elaine Worked for Avtex until the closure in 1989 where she met so many dear friends. She had a love for her cats and will be missed by her beloved dog Kaine.

Surviving are her sisters Gladys of Winchester, Edna of Stanley, and Josephine of Luray; one son Ronald A. Williamson and wife Crystal of Front Royal; four daughters, Tammie WIlliamson of Front Royal, Charlene Malone and Husband Mike of Florida, Darlene Williamson of Front Royal, and Sheila Stoll of Front Royal; 14 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Also two non-biological daughters, Sherry Embrey of Front Royal and Robin Burkell of Arizona; of whom she loved like her own.

She was predeceased by her husband, Donald A. Williamson; one sister, Geraldine “Gerry” of Luray, Virginia; two grandchildren, Angie and Garrett; and a daughter in-law, Patti Williamson.
