Elizabeth Ann Williams Lamb, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, died Monday, February 16, 2015, in her home.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by The Rev. Penny Matheson and Evangelist Roy Riley. Burial will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Lamb was born April 21, 1939, in Warren County, daughter of the late Raymond Joe and Gladys Mansfield Williams. She was married to the late Paul Walker Lamb, Sr. She retired as a private duty caregiver.
Mrs. Lamb was an avid farmer and conservationist. She was a member of the Warren County Farm Bureau serving as the Women’s Committee Chairperson for many years. She was a 4-H All-star and 4-H Leader for over 40 years. She was a founding member of the Special Education Advisory Committee. She was a member of the Republican Party and the National Rifle Association. Mrs. Lamb was a lifelong member of the Linden United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir.
Surviving are her children Paul Walker Lamb, Jr. (Geneva) of Rileyville, Raymond Joe Lamb (Judy) of Kentucky, William Eugene Lamb (Ellen) of Front Royal, Dean Gergen Lamb (Kandi) of Front Royal, and David Hart Lamb of Front Royal; two brothers Raymond Alan Williams (Carolyn) of Winchester, and Roger Lee Williams (Wanda) of Front Royal; nine grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Robert Hupman, Mike Kisner, Les Barbee, Jess Beall, Brian Thompson, and Bodie Corbin.
Honorary pallbearers will be Ted Kane, Terry Binder, Tom Mercuro, Frenchie Tolliver, Jimmy Fletcher, Don DeLong, Violet Carter, Beth Pinner, and Pernille Brandt.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
