Eric Franklin Clater, 56, of Winchester died October 13, 2018, at Winchester Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at the Front Royal United Methodist Church conducted by Pastor Terry Clark.

Eric was born August 19, 1962, in Front Royal, son of Ernest Clater and the late Loretta Midkiff Clater.

Along with his father he is survived by his step mother Evon Clater; son James Clater; daughter Erica Clater; sister Tracy Colby; two grandchildren Landon and Aryavna Clater; niece Madison Colby; and his ex-wife Tina Airhart.
