Hazel Andrews Lupton, 84, of Front Royal, VA, passed away at home on hospice care surrounded by her family on Thursday, April 28, 2016.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 2, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Dottie Holden. Burial will follow in Bennett’s Chapel Cemetery.

Mrs. Lupton was born March 16, 1932 in Warren County, VA, daughter of the late Harry Lee and Barbara Jane Andrews.

She married her husband Maynard Bayliss Lupton on April 27, 1953, having just celebrated their 63rd Anniversary. She was a member of AARP and she and her husband were both active in the Warren County Senior Center.

Surviving with her husband are two sons Arthur Ray Lupton and David Lynn Lupton.

Pallbearers will be Alvin McDonald, Delmar Lineweaver, Bobby Esteppe, George Lupton, Wayne Sealock, Steve Evans, and Dennis Grove.

Honorary pallbearers will be Calvin Duncan, Michael Dauria, Bob Castle, and Barry Neighbors.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, May 1, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
