James W. Sealock

James W. Sealock, 78, of Amissville, Virginia passed away on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Martinsburg, West Virginia.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 11 Am at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 West Main Street, Front Royal, Virginia with Sammy Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in Amissville Baptist Church Cemetery.

Mr. Sealock was born March 13, 1939 in Front Royal to the late James G. “Goldie” Sealock and Thelma Wines Sealock. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Doris M. Sealock; two sons, Rodney James Sealock and Todd Wesley Sealock and his wife Vickie; three brothers, Bobby, Mike and Stevie Sealock; granddaughter, Kim Sealock; grandson, Andrew Sealock; two nieces, Karen and Diane Sealock and nephew Chris Sealock.

Pallbearers will be Stevie Sealock, Mike Sealock, Bobby Sealock, Chris Sealock, Jimmy North and Scott Smoot.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Johnny Childress, John Dove, Harry Wines, Whitey Smoot and Foxy Fox.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 5 to 8 PM at the funeral home.

    Bobby and family so sorry to hear about Jimmy. I have so many memories of our much younger days. Remember him following the school bus on his motor cycle. I am sure he will be gratefully missed by all who knew him. Hugs to all.
