Janet Scott Norman, 64, of Front Royal, passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2015, at Royal Haven, Inc.

Funeral services will be at a later date.

Mrs. Norman was born on December 15, 1950 in Rappahannock County, daughter of the late Lincoln Wyatt “Jim” Scott and Elizabeth L. Williams Scott. She worked for many years for R.R. Donnelley, Inc. in Strasburg.

Surviving are two daughters Libby Oliver and husband Jerry of Winchester and Kathy Foster and husband Ed of Brandy Station; two sons Lynn Norman and fiancée Katie of Gore and Branden Norman and fiancée Kim of Madison; one brother Lincoln Scott and wife Tammy of Front Royal; three sisters Debora Pennington and Jim of Kentucky; Ileen Ramey and husband Mike of Front Royal and Nancy Brooks and husband Carlan of Strasburg; four grandchildren Ali Oliver, Jillian Oliver, Natalie Norman and Heather Norman.

Mrs. Norman was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lewis Walter Norman; and two brothers, Jimmy Wyatt Scott and Jerry Bernard Scott.

The family will receive friends on Friday, December 11, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Maddox funeral home.
