Losing Jeanne leaves a huge hole in my heart. She was such a wonderful part of our “girls group”, always laughing, even when she didn’t feel up to it. I consider it an honor to have known her since school. There’s a new star in heaven now looking down on us, there just aren’t words to say how special she was. Even when she was so sick, she would still email and ask how Mike was and say she was praying for him. That’s one of a kind. Jeanne, you’ll never be forgotten – and yes, we’ll sometimes still laugh at some of the silly things you did. Bonnie S.

Deepest sympathy to all of Jean’s friends and family. She was always a ray of sunshine, so upbeat, and happy. She will be miss. She fought a long hard battle, God Bless her. I enjoyed her at the family reunions, and our cousin’s lunches. She will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Such a beautiful person inside and out. She would laugh at something stupid I said and we would continue on talking. My heart breaks to hear that you have left us but you will live forever in our hearts. Fly Free Jean!!

If you knew her, you loved her! Simple. I’m so grateful that I knew her. Rest alittle for now Jean, before you start your next adventure. I love you!

I was shocked to hear of Jean’s passing. I had seen her about 6 months ago and as usual, she always had a smile on her face. I did not know she had gotten ill. I have known Jean since 1993 or so when we were contractors working at US Customs. She was one of the nicest people I know. She will be greatly missed. My heart goes out to her family and friends.

When I was in high school, I was lucky enough to have Lydia Fussell as my Art teacher. Through her father-in-law’s florist she got me a part-time job helping at Fussell Florist for special occasions. I was even luckier still as Jean was working at Fussell’s at the time. Jean was the kindest, sweetest person there. She took time to show me tricks of the trade and also to explain how things worked. She was also genuinely interested in learning about me. After I married, my family and I moved from Front Royal, but whenever we would come back to visit family, if I saw Jean, she was always as friendly and kind as when I first met her. She had a way of making you feel good. I am so sorry to learn of her passing so soon in her life, and that she had been so ill. Heaven has another angel. Sending my sincere sympathy to the family and God’s comfort in this time of sorrow.
