Jeanne Willey Mullins, 89, of Front Royal, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016, in the Lynn Care Center in Front Royal surrounded by her son George and her daughter Jenna Jill.

A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, September 7, at 2:00 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home with The Rev. Deborah Rutter and Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Mullins was born November 1, 1926, in Front Royal daughter of the late Lloyd Yates Willey and Sybil Randolph Russell Willey. Mrs. Mullins was a member of Calvary Episcopal Church where she taught Sunday school for 30 years, member of the Garden Club of Warren County, and a gourmet cook. She was married to the late retired Virginia State Trooper George G. Mullins. Mrs. Mullins was also preceded in death by her uncle retired Virginia State Senate Majority Leader in the Virginia General Assembly, Senator Edward Eugene Willey.

Surviving are a daughter Jeena Jill Mullins Brabant and husband Wilfred of King George; one son George Yates Mullins of Front Royal; two granddaughters Kayla Jill Brabant and Kara Nicole Brabant both of King George; one sister Ellen Wilson and husband Samuel of Crestview, FL; and a very dear and devoted friend of many years Louise King Eastham.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Maddox Funeral Home.
