Jerry was a wonderful friend. Just last year, we thought Charles had only a short time to live as he was diagnosed with leukemia. Jerry came to Atlanta, drove 35 miles to our house in north Georgia, and visited with Charles for a long while. They laughed and we all remembered the best times of our lives together with Jerry when he worked for CW Wright. It was hard for Jerry to say good bye to Charles who miraculously is living still. If only we had known that instead of him saying the last goodbye with his tender words for Charles, we would be the ones saying goodbye. We will always remember his joyful abandonment for fun together with friends.

This man was my mentor for over 30 years.
He was one of the most intelligent men I have ever met. In our business, Jerry Hamman was larger than life and you never had to guess where his heart was. He loved his work and he loved CW Wright. He was truly one of a kind and his legend will live on for generations.
    Rest In Peace my friend❤️
