Karen Sue Schultz, 71, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 at Winchester Medical Center.

A celebration of life will take place at a later date.

Karen was born on August 22, 1952 in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Clayton Legg and Betty Bordeaux. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Edward Michael Schultz; her brother, David Legg; and her granddaughter, Sarah Koci.

Surviving Karen are her children, Kenny Koci and Kari Longmire; her siblings, Cheryl Byrd and Stevie Legg; her grandchildren, Taylor Longmire, Jaden Longmire and Fisher Koci; her great-grandchild, Adylene Platts; her son-in-law, James Longmire; her soon to be daughter-in-law, Kelly Bunch and several nieces and nephews.

Karen was a manager and member of the Front Royal Loyal Order of the Moose #829. She enjoyed going to the Flea Market with some friends, working on her garden, playing with animals, and spending time with her grand/great-grandchildren. She was an awesome grandma, as not many great-grandchildren get to run around and play with their great-grandmothers, but Karen was proud of her special relationships with her grand/great-grand kids.
