Lamont and Ann and his family and the people who worked for him at Springtime Garden Center — My heart breaks for you. Lamont was such a good, honest, hard working man who took the time to know everyone he met. As soon as he met you, he never forgot a face. No matter where you were in town, he would stop and talk to you. His family always did my landscaping and planted over 40 trees in my yard in the 13 years I have lived here in Front Royal. Every time he would see me, he would ask how my trees were doing. I will miss his advice. Every time I called with a question, no matter how busy he was, he would stop his work and give me guidance. He will be missed.
Ann and family, we’re so sorry to hear of Lamont’s passing. I always loved talking to him at Springtime Gardens; he was so kind. Our sincerest condolences to you.
Love, Mitzi & Marge Fox

or sharing his unending knowledge, he always made an effort to be kind and helpful to everyone.

Lamont will be greatly missed at this home. He became a friend when I moved here, and at my Mom’s insistance planted 14 trees in my yard. He stayed to chat and invite me to church, and always remembered to greet me there. He and Ann were among my first friends in Front Royal, and he will bring a smile to all who think of him from this day forward. Rest in Peace, my friend!
We are so saddened by your huge loss. We loved working with Lamont and family❤️
Ann, Colby and your entire family: you are in our prayers during this sad time. Lamont was such a caring, hard working man with a heart even larger than his considerable stature. Never too busy to speak a kind word or give some much appreciated advice. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May the Lord put his arms around you and comfort you, Ann, Colby and all.
Ann and Colby and family, our hearts are breaking for you. Lamont was a wonderful man as I am sure you know. He came to our house 22 years ago and suggested the trees and flowers for our front yard. Ann and Family,
May the lord give you peace and calm to get through this very sad time. Lamont was so loved. We will always be great full for the love and guidance he gave to our family. He took our son at a very young boy and gave kindness and mentored him. Lamont and your whole family will always be in our prayers and hearts.
I am very sad to here of Lamonts passing. I only new him through my father and he was always so good to my father and mother. My prayers are with you and your family at such a hard time but he was such a good man and I know he is now with Jesus and is most likely working in the gardens of Heaven.
