Oh what a loss for all of society who knew him ! An absolute pillar in the town of Front Royal Virginia! When my Husband was passing away from lung cancer due to two tours in Vietnam I was able to make his wish before he died possible thanks to John ! I sent John an Email explaining my situation. Long story short ! John showed up at Winchester Med .Center where he so kindly played for Michael my husband as Michael’s one wish in life was to see John and listen to John play before he die . John made this possible! John never met either of us but but sent a passing Vet to the other side with a smile ! John will be truly missed !

My husband and I and Larry used to hike together in the Shenandoah National Park. Larry used to Ranger up there many years ago and was a wealth of information about the wildlife! Sorry to hear he passed.

Just heard the news that Larry has passed. My sincere condolences to his family and friends. He and I had several discussions about the black-footed ferret and the work that is being done at the Smithsonian right here in Front Royal to save the species he so enjoyed.
