A funeral service will be held for Leslie at 2 P.M. on Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. There will be a procession to Prospect Hill Cemetery following the service. Guests are welcome to visit with one another one hour prior to the service.
Leslie was born on April 19, 1927 to the late Leslie Sealock Sr. and Fannie Sealock. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 74 years, Anna Athey Sealock; and his siblings, Dorsey L. Sealock, Margaret Ann “Peggy” Tharpe, and Obie Sealock.
Surviving Leslie are his daughters, Anna Sealock Anders and Leslie K. Sowers; his grandchildren, Eric Anders (Aida), Aaron Anders (Tanya), Lisa Rudy Vining (Mark), Kimberley Rudy, Jason Foster (Christy), Nathan Foster and Matt Anders; his great- grandchildren, Anna DeHaven, Justin Vining, Lauren Anders, Lillie Anders, Gabriel Anders, Christopher Anders, Savanna Foster, Sarah Foster, Cade Foster and Christian Foster; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a special aunt, Lillian Fox.
Leslie was a member of the American Legion, the Front Royal Jaycees, and the Lions Club. He was always one to keep moving forward and didn’t know when to stop. He was the owner of multiple businesses; L. Dees Pancake House, Save A Stoppe Grocery, Family Grocery, Royal Village Laundromat and L.D. Sealock Appliance Service. He was also a Front Royal historian and lifelong citizen of his beloved town.
