Louise Virginia Fadely Eason, 92, affectionately known as mom, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, January 26, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Bunce and Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mrs. Eason was born February 20, 1932 in Edinburg, Virginia, daughter of the late Melvin and Winnie A. Sine Fadely.
Mrs. Eason, alongside her husband Wardell, owned and operated the Knotty Pine Restaurant in Front Royal for numerous years. She was a former member of the Front Royal Lioness Club and a charter member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Front Royal.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wardell Eason; sister, Anna “Betty” Smith; brother, Donald Fadely; and two brothers who passed in infancy, William and Burgess Fadely.
Surviving are two daughters, Karen Winn and husband Stan of Front Royal and Diane Eason (Rice) of Centreville; two brothers, Landon Fadely and wife Mary of Woodstock, and Stanley Fadely and wife Mary of Bryson City, North Carolina; one sister, Linda Foley and husband David of Front Royal; three grandchildren, Amber Jones (Chris), Troy Jenkins (Amanda) and Casey Winn (Will); and five great-grandchildren, Sarah Benko, Ryland Jones, Maddie Jones, Mia Jenkins and Brodie Doss.
Pallbearers will be Troy Jenkins, Chris Jones, David Foley II, Duane Foley, Boyd Thompson and Will Doss.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 2 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
