Luz Norinda Lethcoe

Luz Norinda Lethcoe, 75, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on July 4, 2026, at 5:56 a.m surrounded by her ‘loves.’
Nora was born in Ponce, Puerto Rico, on December 12, 1950 to Salvadore Delvalle and Claribel Lopes. (Yes, 1950.) Last century. Somehow, some of us are still recovering from that realization.
She served in the United States Army and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant.
Throughout her life, Nora was known for her kindness and generosity, especially by every charity that found her mailing address, every grandkid looking for snacks or snack money, and every dog that knew she always had the good snacks.
There is a saying that a truly kind person would give you the shirt off their back. Nora may not have always had a shirt to spare, but she would not have hesitated to pop out her prosthetic eye and offer it up if she thought someone needed it more than she did! That was Nora: loving, giving, stubborn, hilarious, and unforgettable.
She is survived by the love of her life and, at times, the bane of her existence, Larry Lethcoe; her son, Jason Lethcoe and his wife Kelly Lethcoe; her daughter, Elizabeth Lethcoe and her husband Erik Estrada; and her grandchildren: Eric Lethcoe, Ryan Lethcoe, Mason Duckworth, Steven Lethcoe, Giovanni Hernandez, Jose Estrada, Marcella Estrada, Oliver Lethcoe, and Aylah Lethcoe. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Landon Lethcoe and Juniper Lethcoe.
Yep. All of them. Because two people fell in love, and the rest of us have been dealing with the consequences ever since.
Nora will be deeply missed, lovingly remembered, and probably laughing at all of us for making such a fuss. We all loved her then, now, tomorrow and forever in our memories.
Save some snackies!
