Michael Lee “Mike” “Grandpa” Soyars, 56, of Front Royal, Virginia passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held for Mike at 4 PM on Friday, September 4, 2026 at Maddox Funeral Home, 105 W Main St, Front Royal, Virginia 22630 with Sammy Campbell officiating. The family invites guests to visit one hour prior to the service.

Mike was born on August 15, 1970 in Martinsville, Virginia to the late Paul Elias Soyars and to Mary Ann Frazier.  Along with his father, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Loretta Lynn Campbell Soyars.

Surviving along with his mother are his daughter, Ava Lynn Cameron (Aaron); two brothers, Paul Soyars Jr. and Matthew D. Soyars; three sisters, Emily S. Whitmore, Nancy A. Soyars and Melissa D. Crawford; five grandchildren, Jayce, Noah, La’Ryah, Nevaeh and Artemis and numerous nieces and nephews.
