Michael “Mike” J. Sirna, Jr, 71, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Friday, December 28, 2018, in the Blue Ridge Hospice Residential Center.
A celebration of Mike’s life will be held on Friday, January 4, 2019, at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Shenandoah Memorial Park in Winchester.
Mike was born June 24, 1947, in Cumberland, Maryland son of the late Michael James Sirna, Sr. and Vera Devore Whitman Sirna. Mike was a United States Navy veteran having served upon the USS Wright during the Vietnam War from 1966-1968. He was a member of the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion, member of the Cedarville Ruritan Club and a member of the “Big Rock” hunting club. Mike owned and operated D&H Heating and Cooling for many years.
He was not only a great friend but a mentor and inspiration to many.
Surviving are his loving and devoted wife of twenty-six years Louise Mattingly Bosley Sirna’ one son Mickey Sirna and wife Barbara of Front Royal; one daughter Aimee Sirna of Portsmouth; one step-son Lenny Bosley and wife Christi of Front Royal; three sisters Susy Albin and husband Larry of Ridgeley, West Virginia, Inez Myers of Ft. Ashby, West Virginia, Dianne Mancus- Carlson and husband Curt of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one brother David Sirna and wife Dot of Great Cacapon, West Virginia; grandchildren Emmet Sirna, Victor Sirna, Candace Bosley Brown, Alexis Bosley, Ashley Gue, Wyatt Bosley, Jamie Showers, Tracy Newlin, Cheryl Duffer, Kera Michelucci, Nikki Michelucci and Kaylee Michelucci; and many loving great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. Mike was preceded in death by his parents and one step-son Jeff Bosley.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

It was wonderful to see Mike at the high-school class reunion 8/25/18 and also at Class luncheon 10/18/18. We all had such a wonderful time together. None of us would have thought that we would not have the pleasure of Mike’s company anymore.
