Michael Peter Frankel, 62, of Front Royal, Virginia, died Thursday, November 16, 2017, at his home.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 25, at 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Episcopal Church in Front Royal conducted by the Rev. Jane Piver. Inurnment will be private.

Mr. Frankel was born April 15, 1955, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, son of Charles R. Klotz and the late Dorothy Recker Klotz. He was retired and a member of Calvary Episcopal Church.

Surviving are his wife of 42 years Deborah Nash Frankel; two daughters Melissa Eden and Megan Ludeman and her husband Geoff; two brothers Daniel and Robert Frankel; and four grandchildren Amelia Eden, Zoey Eden, Liam Ludeman, and Phoebe Ludeman.

Mr. Frankel loved his family and will be remembered as a loving and caring husband, father, brother, son, and grandpa/Gup-Gup.
