Michelle Lynn Willis

Michelle Lynn Willis, 45, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Sunday February 23, 2020 in her home.

A memorial service will be held by the family at a later date.

Michelle was born on December 22, 1974 in Winchester, Virginia, to the late Gus Franklin Willis Sr. and to Minnie Jenkins Willis. She was also preceded in death by her long-time partner Norman Frederick Kerns Jr.; son Norman Fredrick Kerns III (Butchie)

Surviving along with her mother are daughters Bianca Owens (Lucas Lutz) and Destany Bunch (Garrett Bunch); brother Gus Franklin Willis Jr. (Theresa Willis); sister Cynthia Willis; granddaughter LuEmma Bunch; father-in-law Norman Frederick Kerns Sr.; numerous beloved nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Maddox Funeral Home. 105 West Main Street, Front Royal.

    Rest in peace Aunt Michelle… From the time I was young you weren’t only my Aunt but like a second mom to me and I couldn’t be more prouder to call you my Aunt..     I know it will be a challenge moving on without you here day by day. You truly knew the Lord. You truly loved & bonded your family & friends. Although tiny in body you set the prime example of Strength. May our family & friends find the peace to accept your moving up to Heavenly grounds. Gone but not forgotten.

    Michelle, I will love and miss you always. You were like another daughter to me when you were growing up. I am glad you are free of pain and hurt. Not at all glad that we will not see you or hear your voice. Love & Light, Blessed Be!

      R. I. P. my friend. We never got our lunch! I will miss your smile and your funny antics to make everyone else laugh. Girl the world will not be the same but you will have to let us know what it’s like in heaven
