Nancy Diane Romo, 63, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away on Saturday, May 30, 2020, in the VCU Medical Center in Richmond.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 4 from 2-5 p.m. at Maddox Funeral Home.

Nancy was born on January 19, 1957, in Elkton, Maryland, daughter of Lorene A. Rickman and the late William Howard Smith, Sr.

Surviving with her mother are three daughters: Tonya Bautitsa of Front Royal, Dana Mitchell of Elkton, Maryland and Tasha Vega of Buckingham, Virginia; three brothers Harry Smith of Amherst, Virginia, Rodney Smith of Amherst, Virginia, and William Smith, Jr. of Amherst, Virginia; four sisters Wanda Mayo of Bucking ham, Virginia, Janet Strong of Elkton, Maryland, Lillian Vicks of Amherst, Virginia and Marie Lester of Amherst, Virginia; 10 grandchildren Trea Lester, Dayra Escoto, Luis Escoto, Victoria Goolsby, Katelyn Lester, Christian Herrera, Juan Amaro, Cruz Herrera, Fabian Amaro, and Maricella Herrera; and two great-grandchildren Ivy Hogan and Penelope Goolsby.

Nancy was preceded in death by her father and one brother and one sister.
