P. Todd “Peter” “Bulldog” Ramey, 58, of Front Royal, Virginia, passed away suddenly on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in Middletown, Virginia.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 16 at 11:00 a.m. at Maddox Funeral Home with Sammy Campbell officiating. Interment will follow in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Todd was born November 3, 1966 in Front Royal, Virginia, son of the late John Henry and Katherine Louise Anderson Ramey.
Todd was a 1985 graduate of Warren County High School and worked as an executive driver for Boeing for over 30 plus years and a driver for 5-Star Executive Chauffeuring, LLC.
Todd had a heart of gold and would help anyone in their time of need. His love of family and friends will be remembered for many years to come. Though he will be greatly missed on Earth, the legacy of his kindness, humility and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His life was a testament to compassion and service; a man who gave without hesitation and loved without condition. Todd’s memory will forever be a guiding light to his family and friends, reminding us to live with the same grace and empathy he showed every day.
Surviving is a brother, John A. Ramey and wife Tracey of Front Royal; one sister, Kaye M. Ramey of Front Royal; a dear aunt, Cody Ramey of Front Royal; four nephews, J.R. Ramey and wife Melody of Front Royal, Lee Ramey and wife Krystal of Front Royal, Chris Ramey and wife Whitney of Front Royal, Marc Ramey and wife Lacey of Front Royal; one niece, Nikki Ramey and fiancé David Plaugher of Front Royal; four great-nephews, Seth Ramey, Jacob Michelucci, Kyler Ramey and Christopher Ramey; five great-nieces, Alexis Ramey, Peyton Ramey, Kali Ramey, Kaidence Ramey and Abbi Ramey; dear cousin, Jolissa Ramey of Front Royal; close and dear friend, Scott Fink of Middletown; his best friend of over 40 years, Sammy Campbell of Stephens City; and his dog that he adored, Tazzy Wazzy.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a great-nephew, Michael Ramey and a dear cousin. Regina Ramey.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Ramey, Lee Ramey, Chris Ramey, Marc Ramey, Kyler Ramey, Scott Fink, and Sammy Campbell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Nikki Ramey, Steve North, Butch Rutherford, Mike Kenney and the Warren County Class of 1985.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15 from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Following the graveside service all are welcome to join the family at the Front Royal Moose Lodge, 1340 John Marshall Hwy, Front Royal, VA 22630, please bring a covered dish.
