Patricia Ann “Patty” Vaught Brown, 64, of Front Royal, Virginia went home to be with the Lord and her loved ones waiting for her on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 at Winchester Medical Center.

Patty was born on November 2, 1961 in Front Royal to the late Fred and Judy Lansberry Vaught.  She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church.  Patty enjoyed life and loved to have fun and laugh.  She was a great mom and made holidays and birthdays very special.  She made sure her son knew she loved him very much.  Family time was very important to her and that included her friends that were as close as family and very special to her.  Even through her struggles as a cancer survivor and with other health issues she held on to fun and shared all she could with others.

Survivors include her son, Clayton Arnold, his girlfriend, Nikki Rakes and her daughter Patty considered a granddaughter, MyLee Rose Rakes; brother, Allen Vaught (Fay); sister, Stephanie V. Bryant; uncle, Ritchie Vaught (Joan); aunt, Shirley Vaught; special cousin, Teresa Hupman and many cousins.
